Our Weekend
This weekend was very busy. We found a library where we can check out books and movies. In these pictures the library was having a demo on ooblek, it's cornstarch and water. Then we went to the Kids Expo. It wasn't quite as fun as I thought it would be. The kids had a good time which is really all that matters right?
This last picture is when we came home. Alya was wiped out!

Our fabulous trip to Aqaba
This weekend we went on a little vaction to Aqaba. We were there last year, and thought we'd go back. It was really hot and we all got very sunburned. We stayed at a hotel by the beach so we spent a lot of time in the pool and then a little time on the beach. The beach is mostly rocks so it's not really that much fun. There is a dock that you walk out onto to get in the water to scuba dive or snorkel. Neither of which I know how to do. I'd like to learn, maybe next trip. Anyway, when you go onto this dock you can look down and the water is so clear that you can see the coral and the fish swimming. We saw fish like Dorey the the one in Finding Nemo, well they didn't talk, so not excatly like the Dorey fish. Anyway, it was really cool. We went with another couple and thier kids and had a great time. It's nice that we all get along so good. They have kids the same ages as our pretty much.

I just want to clarify a few things:
Number 3: that is a very small hermit crab in Alya's hand. We were trying to get it to walk on her hand.
Number 4: The crab is about the size of my hand. We put it back were we found it.
Number 5: Adam is bieng a fish. Gotta love that kid
Number 8: What the hotel looks like from the dock. It looks nicer than it actually was.
Number 9: We were standing on the dock and a little girl with her mother came up and the little girl was holding this deas fish she found on the beach. The mom asked me if I wanted to take a picture of it. I said sure. So she held it up and I took a picture. Makes a great story right? The little girl then threw it in the water and left.
Number 15: Is a bouy I think. Alya thought it was the plug and if you pulled it, all the water would drain out.
Number 16: These are little sea creatures the kids collected. We put them back before we left.
The very last picture is at the Dead Sea. We drove past it on the way home and stopped to take a picture. That's our next trip, it's only
about an hour away.
